Miracles Happen Thank You Brunch

February 22, 2009

In February 2009 at Shaker Heights Country Club, a thank you brunch attended by 80 guests was held in celebration of the success of the first every "Miracles Happen" benefit which took place in late 2008 and raised more than $500,000 to benefit the Diana Hyland Miracle Fund.

Diana’s doctor, Paula Silverman, M.D., Associate Professor of Medicine and Medical Director, Breast Cancer Program and Ambulatory Services, Ireland Cancer Center, University Hospitals Case Medical Center, made brief remarks at the brunch along with a patient of Dr. Silverman’s, Alaina Koplow. Dr. Stanton Gerson, Director of Ireland Cancer Center, also attended the brunch in support of Alaina, Dr. Silverman and the Fund.

Organizers of the Diana Hyland Miracle Fund plan to host many events aimed at spreading awareness and raising funds for this critical research at University Hospitals.

Miracles Happen Benefit for Metastatic Breast Cancer Research

November 8, 2008 Shaker Heights Country Club

We’re pleased to report that 600 people attended the "Miracles Happen" Benefit Celebration in support of the Diana Hyland Miracle Fund and that more than $500,000 was raised to kick off this important initiative.
University Hospitals Ireland Cancer Center has assured us that we will reach our goal - to establish a "Chair" for research in Recurrent Breast Cancer. Our mission remains the same: to give hope to hundreds of thousands who have this devastating disease.

As we celebrate the launch of this fund, we give thanks to our friends for continued support and for the privilege and opportunity to be part of this critical effort.
