Miracles Happen 5K Run/Walk

The Diana Hyland Miracle Fund has been created in memory of Diana Hyland, who sadly lost her battle with the devastating disease of metastatic breast cancer on October 27, 2008. The mission of the Miracle Fund is to advance research for advanced breast cancer, focusing on new theories, trials and treatments aimed at managing the cancer and extending lives. Every dollar raised goes toward research at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center, which is dedicated to innovative treatment and promising research with the ultimate goal to cure cancer.

Awards will be presented to the top 3 male and female overall and top 3 in the following age groups: 12 and under, 13—15, 16—19, 20—29, 30—39, 40—49, 50—59, 60 and over.

Route: Enjoy a scenic 3.1—mile route through Cleveland Heights beginning and ending at Nighttown.

Schedule:
11:15 a.m. — Registration
12:15 p.m. — Run/Walk begins (Rain or Shine)
1:30 p.m. — Awards Presentation
2:00 p.m. — Remarks by Miracles Happen representatives followed by a light lunch

Entry Fee:
$20 in advance; $25 day of event
$10 — Age 14 and under Age 2 and under are free

Entry fees include a light lunch, a souvenir water bottle and t—shirt. T—shirts are available to the first
300 registrants.

Pledges:
Participants are encouraged to gather pledges from friends, family and co—workers. Those who raise $250 or more will receive a Miracles Happen lapel pin.
